As many of you, by now have figured out, we are running on an hourly schedule. I hope you all enjoy it as man oh man was it a job.
We also would like you to help us grow. We need a person that is excellent at making Web pages, and a good voice over person for some new jingles. This will have to be for the fun of it as the funds are low but we are going to still stay commercial free.
Of course if you have a rich uncle Harry, then we could use some great donations. If and when this happens, I will get in contact with each person to ask them what they would like in the line of promotional material for their very welcome donation.
This is Fred Gaspro…well Talk Again

We are celebrating one year on the air
We are celebrating one year on the air
We at yesterday once more radio are getting ready for a celebration.
The reason for this celebration is work coming up on our first year of being on the air and we are very proud of it. Although, our official date to celebrate is in June, in the next few weeks you’ll be seeing some changes in programs.
So stand by for some fun if you try and raise money for the show’s and the station.
We’re going to be giving away prizes for those who help us out and you know it’s going to be a lot of fun.
I have been using a three-step process in the restoration of some old-time radio programs and the sound is wonderful. I am instituted new policy here at yesterday once more radio that before any program goes on the audio will be cleaned.
Sunday, traditionally a time when families are together I am going to call that day yesterday once more radio goes to the movies. I have someone there for programs dealing with the movies from the 30s, 40s and 50s. They are all family oriented programs and I’m sure the kids will love them as well is the adults.
One more thing before I close, I will be putting a clear that this to test your knowledge on old time radio right here on the website. I’m sure you’ll find as much fun as I have putting it together and let me know what you think of it.
Before I close I want to ask you again to please help us out with a little donation doesn’t have to be much but everything will help you notice the button up on the left side of this page so if you’re in the mood and you like what we’re doing please donate.
We’ll talk again soon thanks for visiting Yesterday Once More Radios’s website.

Yesterday Once More Radio Update
Old-Time Radio at It’s Best
Hello all, have we been busy at YESTERDAY ONCE MORE RADIO. We have a new person doing our jingles and is he good, yes he is.
I have been working on the Radio Vault to get everything in order. As I said earlier, when I was filming the “Outdoor Sportsman” television show, I started collecting Old-Time Radio Programs. Over the years the collection has grown to over 8,600 episodes of radio programs.
I am also using three different software programs to clean the radio programs I have. Using the three programs, I am able to get a lot of the unwanted clicks, pops and scratches off, the result is clean sounding programs for you to listen to and enjoy.
Old-Time Radio is not only my hobby it’s my passion. I hope to educate, preserve and save Old-Time Radio Programs. Just stop and think for a moment. During the 30s, 40’s and 50’s Radio was the main form of entertainment in the homes of America. It brought the news from the battle fields of World War II. It also brought the news and entertainment from home to our men and women over seas.
I will talk about this important part of hour history in some upcoming blogs that I know you will enjoy.
I received an e-mail from a listener the other day that made me a little upset, but I thought I would air it hear so you know how I feel. The listener told me I should remove any commercials that have cigarettes in them. The commercials are as much a part of the programs as, the programs themselves. I will not edit out anything that is from the start of a program to the end of it. To edit out anything would destroy what I am trying to present. Yes, I know there are cigarette commercials in them but, that’s the way they were broadcast and that’s the way you will hear them.
Please, if you like Old-Time Radio programs as well and you think we are doing the job, will you please take a look at the Paypal Donation Button on this page and help us keep our radio station commercial free. Anything you can give will help us grow.
Well, back to the studio, have a wonderful day,
Fred

WILL YOU PLEASE HELP US GROW?
Yesterday Once More Radio has been in the planning stages for approximately 3 1/2 years. But before I tell you how and why I started Yesterday Once More Radio I would like to give you a little bit of my background.
My name is Fred Gaspro I am 67 years old and retired. During my working years. I produced a television program called the outdoor sportsman show or television. After that, I worked in a motion picture laboratory that produced award-winning motion pictures, commercials and industrial films.
As retirement grew near. I wanted to figure out what to do. Working at our local hospital didn’t sound like much fun, but I still wanted to do something that would give back to the people of my town. Beings I love computers, and old-time radio. I came to the realization that what I wanted to do is help save this dying art form. I have collected over 8000 old-time radio programs from the past. I decided I would put together programs for our retirement community and donate them to the rest homes. This turned out to be a big hit with them. Then I heard about Internet Radio and a light went off. I could share my passion with people around the world.
As one thing led to another, I thought if I could create a classy Internet radio station that people could enjoy, that was what I wanted to do.
So with very little cash I built a sound studio in my home. I then spent 2 years cataloging and digitally cleaning each episode. This process is ongoing and I hope by next summer to have them all done.
In July. I went on the air or on the Internet, making sure that my listeners would get something a little bit different than what they ever used it. The content of the radio station would be the old-time radio programs and public service announcements. There would be no commercials on Yesterday Once More Radio if I could help it.
The idea is to educate, preserve, present, and save. What I consider a dying art form. Most of the shows amaze me. Actors, actresses, sound and special effects. These were the people that helped bring up through world war II and brought into tha homes of millions presented entertainment, news, sports on a daily basis.
This is when children learn to use their imagination. The children also had heros and in most if not all the cases the good guy who had respect for others won the day. They would listen to their favorite radio shows and through their minds eye could see everything that was happening , just with their imagination.
So, with my love of old-time radio programs. We now have Yesterday Once More Radio which I would like to see have at least a listing base of over 2000 within the next 6 months.
Any funds collected will be used only for the improvments of the station. I will NOT use any of the funds for my personal use.
As we all know, things are not free these days, but maybe with your help we can improve on what we started and say wonderful programs for future generations.
I thank you for listening, and I hope you feel as I do that this is a very worthy cause for you to invest in.
Thank You,
Fred Gaspro
